Mascarpone
A smooth Italian style thick cream. It is velvety, slightly acidic and has the texture similar to stiff whipped cream. Traditionally used to create tiramisu, mascarpone adds a creamy decadence in both sweet and savoury creations.
Serving Suggestions
- Create desserts such as tiramisu, cheesecakes, ice cream and gelato.
- Use as a dessert accompaniment in place of cream.
